I Care has begun to organize a vision and eyeglasses clinic in San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala in late February and early March of 2023. The dates for the clinic itself are February 25th through March 2nd. At present, we are waiting for the official letter of invitation that our wonderful hosts are obtaining. A roster is being developed that will include a group flight from California and from Illinois, as well as a few people who will arrange their own travel.
At this point, we have approximately 18 volunteers in each group including 3 doctors and 2 nurses. We are in need of more doctors. And while February 2023 seems a long way off, in order to reserve seats on our flights from California and Illinois, we need to hear from you ASAP if you would like to participate in this event.
